Executive Director and CEO Cynthia Falardeau resigns

The Board of Directors of the Education Foundation of Indian River County regretfully announces, Cynthia Falardeau, our longtime executive director and CEO, has submitted her resignation to the board. She will be leaving the Foundation Friday, October 18, 2019.
Cynthia has served the organization for 14½ years and she will be missed. During her time with the foundation she has been a tireless worker and inspiration to all who have had the pleasure of working with her. Her commitment and dedication have always been above and beyond expectations. The Foundation has enjoyed significant growth and advancement during her time with the organization.
We wish her well as she begins her new role as Senior Director of Women Corporate Directors (WCD) in Stuart, FL.
What is next for the Education Foundation of Indian River County?
The board has begun the transition process to hire a new executive director. A plan is being finalized to engage the resources needed for us to manage a smooth transition. We are confident the programs and services we provide to the students of Indian River County will proceed without interruption.
As always the board is grateful for the support of our generous donors and dedicated stakeholders. We will do our best to continue to provide quality educational programs and services to our students.
