Tools To Learn School Supply Project

A note from Sandi Harpring, President, Indian River Lawyers Auxiliary:
There are approximately 29,000 children living in Indian River County, and almost 6,000 of them live in extreme poverty and arrive on the first day of school without the supplies they need to learn. By partnering with the Education Foundation, the Indian River County Lawyers Auxiliary Tools to Learn program directly delivers school supplies to teachers and students in need.
The mission of the Indian River County Lawyers' Auxiliary is to promote law and justice through education and service and to support our local Bar Association. The goal of the Tools to Learn project is to provide another level of support to teachers in our community.
  •  A list of available school supplies is provided below.
  • The program is available to public and private, primary and secondary schools in Indian River County.
  • Principals must review all requests made by teachers to avoid duplication and ensure supplies are not already available on campus.
  • Please limit requests to supplies needed per semester. Subsequent applications will be accepted up until March 1st.
  • Requests for the 2018-2019 academic year will be accepted from August 13th to March 1st
Please complete the Tools to Learn School Supplies Request form included in the link below and only select items from the school supply list. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
