Algebra Counts 2

“Algebra Counts 2” is a researched-based professional development program that provides teachers the tools to effectively deliver instruction and increase math scores of all students.  We anticipate that passing rates will increase from 51% to 75%.

“Algebra Counts 2” seeks to change the way middle and high school teachers deliver Algebra I content instruction in the classrooms of the School District of Indian River County.  The new professional development program will provide teacher institutes, coaching and progress monitoring.   All students must take Algebra I end- of-course exams to graduate from high school in the state of Florida.  This project is supported Impact 100, United Way of Vero Beach and private donations.
